Content-aware fill in Photoshop CS5
So you've probably heard about content-aware fill if you're the kind of person that hears about these things. I had, but only had the chance to try it for the first time today.
I took this photo in Australia in 2005, near King's Canyon. Content-aware fill lets you draw a rough lassoo around an object, and remove it by getting Photoshop to work out what should replace it. So I removed the tree.
It's not perfect, but consider it took about five seconds, it's incredible.
